All cars, all bikes, all clubs welcome. Free entry for cars, bikes and spectators. Some people say that the city centre of Toowoomba is fairly dead these days. Well, if ever there was a spooky night where the city centre will be resurrected again, PHAT LAPS will be that night. The plan is to load up the car with family / friends and cruise down to the Toowoomba city centre to cut some Phat Laps, provide some free entertainment for the community and pump some blood in to our local economy. PHAT LAPS will not be just another car event. At PHAT LAPS you have unique opportunities to either join a monster street cruise, find a prime park on the lap, or enjoy a feed in a city centre food outlet whilst we bring the show to you with some of the Toowoomba regions finest cars cruising past. Seeing and hearing cars on the move is a lot more entertaining than just a static display. With a lot more general public out on a Saturday night, parking down town can be a challenge. So we will also be organising Reverence Car Meet in the Annand Street Car Park near Herries Street so that you have the option of cutting PHAT LAPS or pulling up for a while at Reverence Car Meet. So how do you want to enjoy your night ? Cruise the streets and enjoy the mobile car show ? Display your car / check out the car display at Reverence Car Meet in Annand Street ? Stand on the footpaths on Ruthven Street / Margaret Street so that you can see and hear the cars cruising ? What the ? I can do any or all of these at one event ? Sounds awesome, I'm in !! We will be showcasing the car scene to the public so everyone will need to be respectful and drive sensibly if people want these events to continue in the future.
